You will also need to apply for your driver for a Motorsport UK RS licence and a PG (parent guardian) licence for yourself via https:\/\/www.motorsportuk.org\/competitors\/rs-clubman-licence\/<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure itemscope itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/ImageObject\">\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/danielricciardoseries.com\/arrive-n-drive\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/9914-Birel20023_result-1024x831.jpg\" alt=\"9914 Birel20023_result\" height=\"831\" width=\"1024\" title=\"9914 Birel20023_result\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\" loading=\"lazy\" \/>\n\t<\/figure>\n\t<ul>\n<li>The Daniel Ricciardo Series DRS Cadet Academy days take place on a Saturday at every Daniel Ricciardo Series Race weekend. Drivers must complete an DRS Academy day of 4 x 10mins sessions. The day includes a detailed briefing and track walk , pre event racing flag homework, drving evaluation and coaching plus a simulation practice start. If your driver passes they wil recieve a DRS certificate and will be race ready!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Daniel Ricciardo Series Academy round sessions <strong>\u00a3225.00 Inc VAT per driver.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You will require a RS Clubman licence which is free by applying via <a href=\"https:\/\/apply-rsclubman.motorsportuk.org\/landing\">RS Clubman (motorsportuk.org)<\/a> This enables you to test and try out the DRS Ricciardo Cadet karts at a DRS Academy day subject to availability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The minimum driver height is 1m 25cms.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>There are two categories of the DRS Ricciardo Arrive N Drive Cadet<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>DRS40<\/strong> which is 40kgs driver class weight with min driver weight of 27kgs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>DRS50<\/strong> which is 50kgs driver class weight with a min driver weight of 43kgs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In each category the driver must achieve the class weight, if you are below the class weight then you must purchase some of our unique ballast weights (2.5kg each ballast) to make up the difference to ensure\u00a0 you comply or are just over the class weight to comply with DRS Cadet regulations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To race in <strong>DRS40<\/strong> the driver must be a<strong> minimum of 27KGS <\/strong>and for <strong>DRS50<\/strong> the driver must be a minimum of <strong>43KGS, if you are in DRS40\u00a0 and weigh 43kgs you can then decide to move up to DRS50 but it is not obligatory you may finish your season.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Our unique quick release ballast system allows drivers and parents to attach their extra ballast quickly and efficiently when getting into their allocated kart on the pre grid before every race.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The<strong> 2026<\/strong> Daniel Ricciardo Series for arrive n drive cadets is a National Series with 9 rounds with your best 8 scores to count!\u00a0 (<em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/danielricciardoseries.com\/arrive-n-drive\/race-calendar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">click for race-calendar <\/a><\/strong><\/em><strong>the cost per round to race is
