YOU MUST BE A DRS CADET MEMBER TO BE ABLE TO ENTER A DRS CADET ROUND or DRS TEST DAY.
CLASSES:
DRS40 min driver weight at race end 40kgs – driver must be a min of 27kgs and then ballast up.
DRS50 min driver weight at race end 50kgs – driver must be a min of 43kgs and then ballast up.

To be able to race in the 2026 Daniel Ricciardo Series Cadet classes you must have a RS Clubman MSUK licence which is free and a parent must apply and pay for a PG (parent guardian licence) at the same time from www.motorsportuk.org/
If you need to get this licence, you must attend at least one DRS Cadet Academy day costing £225.00 Inc vat @ the current rate of 20% on a DRS race weekend.
Pre season stand alone DRS Academy days will be charged at £250.00 Inc vat @ the current rate of 20% taking place on Friday 20th February 2026 at Silverstone (tbc) and Tuesday 31st March 2026 at Silverstone (tbc).
DRS Cadet pre season and DRS Cadet test days on the these dates at Silverstone (tbc) will be charged at £299.99 inc vat @ the current rate of 20%.
On a DRS Academy day you will be coached and evaluated on track including a race simulation rolling lap.
You will also complete a simple written test on racing flags and race procedures to ensure your competence and safety on track and you will sent homework prior to your day to help you prepare.
THE DANIEL RICCIARDO SERIES 2026 CLUB MEMBERSHIP INCLUDES:
- A DRS Visor sticker that must be used at every DRS event or test day.
