Easykart engines whether Cadet 60cc , Junior 100cc or Senior 125cc all have a very good running life between services.

ACR’s engine department offer a comprehensive service centre dedicated to the Easykart engines. All Easykart engines have to be serviced and rebuilt by ACR Ltd to be eligible for use in the Easykart UK Championship. The Easykart engine is made by IAME in Italy, the engines are of very high quality with fine tolerances on all engines and all original IAME spare parts. ACR has been an Official Importer of IAME Easykart engines since 2007.

For Easykart engines 100cc Junior or 125cc Senior it is possible to run the engine for 18 to 20 hours before a full rebuild is required.

However more performance can be obtained by having a top end service after 10 hours.

A top end service for a 100cc or 125cc Easykart engine includes changing the Piston and ring, l/end, piston pin, oil seals, gasket set, internal and external clutch thrust washers, labour of top end strip and re assemble, honing of the cylinder and costs £199.68 + VAT

80% of Junior and Senior Easykart drivers in the Easykart UK Championship follow the service schedule of a fresh engine at the start of the season, followed by a top end service at 10 hours before having a full rebuild probably at the end or start of the following season – even the winners of the Easykart UK Championships follow this schedule – there is no chasing or buying engine power in Easykart UK.

Each Easykart Championship weekend (optional test day on the Saturday) and race day on the Sunday equates to an engine running time over the Easykart weekend of approx 2 hours of track time. Therefore if you are solely doing the Easykart UK Championship, that’s an engine running time of 16 hours to compete and complete the Easykart UK Championship season.

If you attend other track days or open practice days at your local circuit you will, on average, complete around 45 mins to 1 hours running during that day. So, its easy to calculate and log your engine running times especially if you utilize the engine run time feature on your Alfano or Mycron 4 dash/timer.

A full rebuild (Easy 100 Junior & Senior 125) including Piston and ring, piston pin, L/end bearing, con rod, crank pin, b/end bearing, b/end thrust washers, oil seals, main bearings, gasket set, reed petals, clutch t/washers internal and external, clutch roller bearing; labour included strip and rebuild, including honing and re crank balance is £455.89 + VAT.

The Easykart 60cc cadet engine can be run for longer periods of time before any engine services are required.

Only ACR is permitted to carry out engine services on all EasyKart engines. All measurements and parts are logged by ACR to ensure fair and equal play on engine performance in the EasyKart classes.

A top end rebuild is normally required at around 20 hours for an Easykart 60cc cadet engine – this includes changing the Piston and ring, l/end, piston pin, oil seals, gasket set, internal and external clutch thrust washers, clutch roller bearing, pulse pipe and labour of top end strip and re assemble, honing of the cylinder and costs £171.38 + VAT

A full rebuild on a Easykart 60cc cadet engine is normally required at around 40 to 50 hours -this  includes Piston and ring, piston pin, L/end bearing, con rod, crank pin, b/end bearing, oil seals, main bearings, gasket set, clutch t/washers internal and external, clutch roller bearing; pulse pipe, labour included strip and rebuild, including honing and re crank balance is £375.54 + VAT.

In fact, given that the Easykart UK Championship weekends equate to a total of 16 hours track time, it is possible that your Easykart 60cc cadet engine could complete two seasons before a full rebuild is required!

The clutch hub on all the Easykart engine is very strong and can last up to 60 hours, the clutch hub is priced at £72.00 + VAT and can be included in a full service but our advice is to monitor its wear and replace only when necessary.

ACR prepared and serviced engines won the Easykart World Finals in Italy and drivers using ACR engines have been on the World finals podium numerous times over the years.

Attention to detail to ensure maximum power and reliability on our prepared engines is our priority at ACR.

Turnaround for an engine service is normally 10 to 14 days however we strongly advise that you book your engine in advance and this service can be busy at times. Engines can be collected and returned at an Easykart race.
