After the DRS62 kids move up to the more powerful DRS100 for ages from 12 years old up to 16 years old. If a driver has raced in the DRS62 and has completed more than 7 rounds then he or she may move up to DRS100 in the year of their 12th birthday, provided that they meet the minimum driver weight of 41kgs in all their race gear.
With more power the DRS100 has wider slick tyres more grip and a bigger chassis and rear axle and is approx 6 secs a lap faster than the DRS62!

The DRS100 is all about a young driver’s ability and nothing else. The Ricciardo chassis kart frame and the DRS100 BMB engine and its parts are all controlled by the Daniel Ricciardo Series. This system creates a level playing field on kart and engine performance and delivers a realistic racing budget.
The DRS100 Ricciardo kart is a complete kart with combined serial numbers for kart, engine and electronics. Each kart detail is held on a secure database and can only be registered to one driver for the season. It is not permitted to be raced by anyone else apart from the registered driver in the exclusive Daniel Ricciardo Series.
